US SERVICES MEDALS

Our Purpose

The objective of this website is to help veterans deal with the transition from military to civilian life. We don’t want your money, the main goal is recovery which will lead to a more fulfilling life. We believe:

  1. That there is a solution to the problems of PTSD.
  2. Drugs are only a temporary solution and do not allow the veterans to effectively deal with their issues.
  3. There is a positive effect of spiritual growth and individual direction on veterans.
  4. In the wisdom of current and previous spiritual masters. We draw upon the spiritual knowledge of the Native Americans, Eastern and Western religions, the Aborigines and others as well as some stories and guidance from other veterans familiar with the issues and avenues available to them.

Our belief is that by following the examples of spiritual thought and action, one can greatly improve his/her outlook and quality of life.  It is our purpose to make available as much information to the individual that will expose him/her to this way of experiencing life. We strive to improve the lives of others by opening them up to a new view and purpose of life.

This website also includes downloadable files that we have found useful in most situations involving personal growth and development. Please take advantage of these files or if you have seen one that you feel would be valuable on this website, include it with an email to us. Please download any of the files we have provided and by all means share these files with others who might benefit from their use.

Our Philosophy

We each have our own journey;  no one can tell you yours.  It is YOU developing your spiritual center, not someone dictating theirs.  Others might come alongside and offer peace and help.  Take them into your arms, embrace them, for they may not stay too long and therefore inflict their journey on yours.

Go along your journey alone too; see how that feels, see just how much you’ve learned. Feel good about your progress.

Celebrate your mishaps and learn from them, we were never intended to be perfect and therefore make no mistakes.  For life is about learning and sometimes in order to learn we must make “mistakes”. When one learns math, mistakes are expected; that’s why man invented the eraser.

The English word “Sin” was translated from the Hebrew word, “Chet”.  It means to err, to miss the mark or make a mistake; it is found in the Hebrew Bible nearly 600  times.

Contemplate, think and apply this knowledge to your belief system. Sin is when you are operating from inaccurate information and thus make a perceptual mistake. When you become conscious and aware of the results of your inaccuracy, you have the option to reconsider what you have learned and as they do in Hollywood, “do another take.”

All human beings have free will and can choose the path in life that they will take. Choosing good is not impossible, only at times more difficult. There is almost always a “way back” if a person wills it.

I bid you a “Good Journey” instead of “Farewell”.
